Thanksgiving, defined as a time to be thankful for what we have, and an excuse to eat as much as we can. Thanksgiving, a time for family to get together and to celebrate. Thanksgiving, a national holiday that we are able to get off, a way to take time out of our busy lives. Thanksgiving was designed to take a day to be thankful for the things we have taken for granted, and to tell the people we love and care about that we are thankful that they have been a part of our lives.
Thanksgiving use to be the best, a house filled will warmth and family&friends. Tables use to be filled with stacks and stacks of food that could last for days. This year my thanksgiving consisted of having thanksgiving breakfast with Andrew & Huy (thanks guys.) I spent my whole day sleeping .. I mean, I’m so thankful for many things, but I just miss all the holiday spirit … I miss it so much.
Franchesca, my new baby sister, the new addition to the family, I’m so thankful to have you in my life. You make me feel needed, wanted.. you motivate me to become a better person, so that I may be a great role model for you. You inspire me so much with everything you’ve been through; you still have a smile on your face. I know you feel alone sometimes, but you aren’t .. you aren’t babygirl. I’m here, and I will remain here even when times are tough. Don’t ever let anyone tell you who you are, or stop you from your dreams. Stand your ground, and just always remember that if you ever fall, I will be there to help you back up.
I’m so thankful for my family, friends, for just being able to wake up every single day that I have … Thank you God. I’m so blessed ..I don’t know what I did to deserve this life I live.
